I grew up in a quiet, country town in Massachusetts with a zest for life, a love of learning, and a secret passion for performing. These interests, along with the love and support of my wonderful family and friends, inspired me to follow my dreams of becoming a voice actor.
I was initially trained by Voice Coaches, Creative Voice Development Group LLC in Albany, NY and continue to grow and develop my skills through one-on-one professional coaching sessions, voice over conferences, and voice acting webinars. I also hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Education. In addition to my career as a professional voice actor, I was a first grade teacher for many years before becoming a K-2 Interventionist and an Instructional Coach for teachers. I've always felt strongly about encouraging a love of literacy and the role that language and literacy play in preparing children for success. In my coaching role, I serve as a dedicated thinking partner for teachers, supporting them in meeting the needs of our students.
I have been extremely fortunate to have worked on a diverse range of voice over projects with amazing clients such as Gomee Girl, The Dani P. Mystery series, Pink Truck Designs, Diaz Digital Discoveries, and many wonderful children's authors. I am also an audio book narrator through ACX and constantly try to be a supportive resource to writers and creatives, especially those who promote children's literacy and those who inspire children to follow their dreams. Passionate about voice acting and its elaborate possibilities, I strive to provide a valuable service that helps you reach your target audience by adding a professional voice to your book trailer, promotional video, children's audio book, company website, corporate narration video, or other project… all with a smile that can be heard!
I also believe in the importance of giving back to my community. I am delighted to provide audio description services to The Hanover Theatre's visually impaired audience members so they can experience all of the wonderment and subtle nuances that live theater has to offer. I also volunteer at Audio Journal as a broadcaster for visually-impaired listeners where I host the Mindful Moments segment. Additionally, I've volunteered with Learning Ally as a narrator of children's audio books to benefit students with learning and visual disabilities.
When I'm not in the studio working on a voice over project or in the classroom supporting my students and teachers, you'll find me enjoying the simple pleasures in life, such as: taking a relaxing walk or hike, enjoying time with my family, or belting out the latest country hits in my SUV with the sun shining on my face and the windows down!
